Before going all computer/midi controller/software in our live setup, I used to use a Roland MC-808. It used zip disks to store recorded audio and you could trigger up to 4 samples/loops at a time. Because of how we were doing things, there was no midisync, it was all completely manual. It was both a great time and a terrible nightmare simultaneously.</description>
